Cerita Housemate Lagi.. Bile Nak Habis Ni?

This is the fate for people like who rented rooms. My housemates and roomates will eventually change faces for some reasons whatsoever. The "broom incident" as my dear Lady Bie had remembered is not the only incident I had experience before. Haha.

I had started renting house since December 2004. My first roomates were Huda and Habsah, my university mates. At that time I had just started work in KL. The first rooms we rented were a small room in a big two stories penthouse in Vista Angkasa. The "tuan rumah" is an Indian.

The nightmare for us was that he had turned the penthouse into something like a dorm. He took a lot of tenants in. He even added additional rooms made by some carpenter to occupied more girls. The girls that occupied the room slept on the floor, crowded with three of them and hardly any space to put their things in. We had wondered how the hell did they manage to squeeze in like that. Imagine you have to stepped on each others just to get to the door.

We had moved not because we did not like our "tuan rumah". He was okay I guess. But it was because the bad leaking in our rooms that he had made it worst by fixing it himself. It almost flooded our room. Then the three of us moved to another house which we happily shared for a while. These two are a good roomates to me.

My next house was fine. We did our own things and kept to ourselves. It is just that we could not find anyone to rent a room and we are short of rent money by the end of the month. The "tuan rumah" keep demanding it from my friend. He is just not someone who you can tolerate with. One of the ex-housemates, the one who left the room empty also kept demanding her deposit money back. Well we said, since she did not even helped to find a replacement and yet kept calling to ask for her money and did not understand a bit about the situation we were having. Some people huh.

Well my next house.. I save it when I am in the mood to talk about it. That one is quite a long story that one. The "broom incident" house was the last house I moved out of.

Now my current house, we were looking for housemates for the master bedrooms since the last occupant had moved out. I had leave all those to my friend. She is the one who usually posted the advertisement for room vacancies. There are two of them now in the room. One had moved in. The other one.. well this one..

She had came with her parents last two weeks I think to look at the house. Well, well, her mother was maybe over-concern for her daughter had taken everything in and had quite a lot to say about most of the things like where to put things, duplication of the "beranda" grill door, even though this whole time we kept only one for public use, the locks in the kitchen, bla.. blaa.. bla.. Well that is fine for me, first time loooking for a new place right?

Then they came again, this time to send a few things to be kept in the room. Again the mother seems to pot pet pot pet about the house again. We just smiled. Even the father came in to see the house himself. At this time, I felt like, is the parents moving in too????

The third time they came again, and this time it is just for a while. Just greet then let them do their things. Sending in things again.

And yesterday.. again.. this time I did not realize they are in the house because I was in the room playing my computer. When I got out to the kitchen, they were praying outside and I was wearing my boxers. Ouch, at least the daughter could warned me. I did not mind whatsoever but as for the father, if he wants to pray, I could point him to the nearest surau. It would be more appropriate as they are still other tenants living in this house.. hello?? not only your daughter.

I was quite mad you see, what if I had gone out with only my towels. I may not be as embarass because it my house. But what about the parents? They certainly would. But the should not do this. If you just want to move, come in once and sort out all things. Not just walk in like you own the damn house or treating it like a high school dorm.

Fuh.. is it time to look for another place.. again??????
